How YOU prepare yourself in the off season heading into training camp is a reflection of your commitment as a professional football player. You cannot turn your discipline on and off, just as you cannot turn your work ethic on or off. Either work hard and get better, or get passed up by your backup.

Off-Season Preparation

Our off season program is a flexible strength, speed and technique program. The program can be modified for a 3, 4, or 5 day workload. Each session split between the weight room and the indoor turf to ensure position specific skills development and enhancement. Every program is tailored to the individual athlete; 4ISP is dedicated to going the extra mile to ensure your development and success.

The off season is time to make MAJOR IMPROVEMENTS in your football strength, power and technique specific skills. Speed Strength, or how fast your muscles can produce force (POWER), this the key to improving your speed and power in football.  Just getting stronger will not improve your speed and power continually, you MUST train your muscles to move at a faster rate with the correct motions.


Training Camp Preparation

Here is where the work really begins, MENTALLY. During this 3 to 4 week period, position specific technique is stressed. We emphasis more practice/ game tempo workouts that mimic two a day practices so that your body will be acclimated to the heat and stress.

Training Camp Program Highlights:

SPEED & AGILITY: Position specific drills and technique work that allows your body to react faster while performing movements specific to the position you play.

EXPLOSIVE POWER: Developing explosive power in and through movements that are specific to the position you play.

POSITION SPECIFIC TECHNIQUE TRAINING: Hands on technique work in our off season program with a coach who HAS PLAYED your position, and will help you to gain a better understanding of what your position coach wants to see from you.

X’S AND O’S CHALKBOARD: Working with your position coach in the off season to gain a deeper understanding of the scheme you  play in as well as assignment execution, i.e. stunts, games, zone dogs, etc.

REGENERATIVE MODALITIES: Yoga, chiropractic care, hot / cold tub, etc.
