One of the most decorated student-athletes on and off the field to ever play Beaver football, Leonhardt has been invited as one of more than 110 student-athletes from around the country to play at Eagle Stadium in Allen, Texas Feb. 2 in the annual Texas vs The Nation Game.

A very underrated prospect that should be getting more love than he is getting. The 6’5, 260 pound tight end had an amazing junior season when he earned Daktronics All-America Second Team Offense, D2Football.com All-America Honorable Mention, Daktronics, Inc. Super Region #3 First Team, All-NSIC First Team and Consensus Draft Services 2011 Preseason All-America Honorable Mention Football Team honors. He is a very tough tight end who has tons of talent. He will end up in an NFL camp and end up making the team. He is a very talented young player, remember the kid from the small school of Bemidji State University.
